      James and Mark (Vitarius and Dau) are a songwriting duo with a flair for blues and rock-inspired country music. With equal parts poetry and riposte, James and Mark write songs from the heart -- they have both had their share of love, loss and longing. Because of this, they don't limit their writing to one genre as they have also written pop, rock, Latin and hip-hop.

      The songwriting duo of Vitarius and Dau began composing original music over 35 years ago when they met in high school.  Now thoroughly ensconced in middle age, their songwriting engines were fired back up again like that of an old pickup that just won't quit. Transitioning their day jobs to part time (James is a cardiologist to our nation's veterans and Mark is a film & video producer),  they are putting their hearts and souls into a career in songwriting.
